Innovation at every turn
The driving force of each of our electric cars is the innovative
BYD Blade Battery. Recognised as one of the world’s safest EV
batteries, our battery has passed rigorous safety tests and is
designed to maximise strength, range and life cycle.
Each of our electric car benefits from BYD’s all-new e-Platform 3.0 structure, designed to enhance the vehicle’s strength, safety and overall driving experience.
We also created the world’s first mass-produced 8-in-1 electric powertrain, designed to optimise the space and energy efficiency of all our vehicles. Wherever you’re going, you can rely on BYD to get you there.

Our BYD Blade Battery is designed to extend the range of your
electric car. Here’s how many miles you’ll get from each of
our electric cars (based on WLTP tests):
BYD ATTO 3: 260 miles
BYD DOLPHIN: 265 miles
BYD SEAL: 354 miles
It’s worth noting that the actual miles you receive from a single charge will vary based on your driving conditions including your driving style. Most people will charge their car before their remaining charge hits 0% too, which will reduce the number of miles you can travel on a single charge.

As electric cars have grown in popularity, EV charging points
are now widely available across the UK. Public charging points
are available where you can pay to charge your vehicle. Some
businesses and workplaces may allow you to charge your
electric car for free during your stay.
You’ll also have the option to charge your electric car at home. You can do this via a standard three-pin plug, although this is the slowest way to charge your vehicle. If you plan on charging your vehicle at home, we recommend having a home EV charger installed which can charge your car up to three times faster than a standard home socket.

On average, electric cars are more expensive to buy outright.
However, BYD electric cars are different. We offer some of the
most affordable electric vehicles on the market, without
scrimping on technology or build quality.
All BYD electric cars are automatic. This is a common standard
across the EV market as electric cars don’t require gears or a
clutch to power the vehicle. As a result, there are only two
pedals: the accelerator and the brake.
